Your support is more than symbolic, it is essential!
Soulforcers are and have always been what Bayard Rustin referred to as "holy troublemakers." Will you help us keep this brave, life-saving work going and carry that legacy forward with a donation today?

This Pride season, we’re drawing strength from the earth—quite literally.
💎 We chose crystals as the theme for Pride this year because we are drawn to their story of ancestral diversity, longevity, and shifting, shimmering, unmistakably Queer beauty. As hostility toward our communities has intensified, we return to their lessons of endurance and transformation. Crystals hold strength shaped by time and tension. Their fractures reveal colors not seen before and help us see the world differently. They are connected to the earth’s immensity—formed in caves, forged in volcanoes, or even born of cosmic collisions. And, of course, they carry sacredness across cultures and time, passed down through practices of prayer, healing, and protection. We, too, are forged under pressure. Our fractures and rough edges reveal unexpected beauty, allowing us to see—and be seen—in new ways. We are always connected to something vast and ancient. We are sacred.
This year, despite global and personal challenges, we’ve brought many dreams to life:
🕯️ In October 2024, after years of relationship-building, we gathered our TeologĂa Sin VergĂĽenza community in person for the first time in Mexico City. Together, we realized something visionary and historic: ¡Somos Muchxs! (“We Are Many!”)—a three-day summit on Queer and Feminist Theology that brought together 65 scholars, pastors, activists, and practitioners from 13 countries across Latin America, the United States, and the Caribbean.
🕯️ We also trained over 100 mental health professionals on Spiritual Violence at the Association for Women in Psychology’s 50th Annual Conference, equipping them with tools to help LGBTQIA+ clients heal from the harm of Weaponized Religion.
🕯️ Looking ahead, we’ve invested deeply in our foundation—building trauma-informed capacity for our staff, prioritizing organizational wellness, and strengthening our advocacy and communications strategies for the work still to come.
Soulforce brings over 25 years of experience challenging the Religious Right through strategic planning partnerships that develop campaigns and interventions to unapologetically confront religion-based violence wherever it might otherwise go unchallenged. Soulforce is led by LGBTQIA+ people directly impacted by Weaponized Religion—particularly Christianity—and focuses its work in the Southern United States, where the power of dominant religious traditions is most viscerally felt. Our staff and community include Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, and Trans people—along with their allied friends and families—who have experienced rejection in traditional religious spaces.
Beloved, will you help us keep this brave, life-saving work going and carry that legacy forward with a donation today? đź’¸
